Frequently Asked Questions

I’m a qualified and insured coach with over 15 years’ experience across social care, community work, and the creative sector. I hold Level 5 and Level 7 coaching qualifications (ILM and CMI), and I’m a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
My training includes trauma (NARM, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Family Trauma), somatic approaches (Coaching with Physical Intelligence and BodySmart), counselling skills (TQUK Level 2), and safeguarding (DSL certified). I’ve led projects worth over £300k and designed workforce development coaching and mentoring schemes for 100+ professionals.
I’m not a therapist, but I offer structured, reflective support for people navigating the emotional and ethical weight of their role — through coaching, supervision, and commissioned events.

I offer:
Personal coaching – confidential, trauma-informed support to help you reset, reflect, and move forward
Group coaching – safe, structured sessions for teams, carers, creatives, or professionals
Reflective supervision – relational, non-clinical supervision for those in emotionally demanding roles
Business coaching – strategic support for sole traders, founders, and values-led organisations
Project & events management – thoughtful planning and delivery for care-sector and creative initiatives

Somatic coaching works with your body as well as your thoughts. It helps you manage stress, feel more grounded, and respond clearly—especially when life feels heavy or demanding.
In a session, I might ask where you feel something in your body, or use gentle tools like breathing, posture, or movement to help you reset and feel more in control.
-
No — coaching is not therapy. It’s future-focused, action-oriented, and designed to help you move forward with clarity. I work with people who are navigating complex roles, creative blocks, or emotional overwhelm.

-
Absolutely. Some people come regularly, others just when they need to reset or refocus. We start where you are.
-
Anything comfortable and casual that you can stretch and bend in. Sensible shoes are best.
-
Sessions are for all abilities - the techniques and activities can be easily adapted. Please be open about your needs so I can make sure the space and approach work for you.
-
Sessions are £50 and last around an hour. You can book weekly, fortnightly, monthly — or just when you need support. Flexible options are available for organisations and funded projects.
-
In-person sessions allow for more natural interaction and use of physical techniques, but online can offer more emotional freedom, flexibility, and safety—especially if leaving the house is difficult. Both can be effective.
-
Somatic coaching isn't counselling or 'therapy' so can work alongside counselling or therapy well. It’s best to let your therapist know, and I’m happy to liaise with them (with your permission) to make sure we’re supporting you in the best way.
